Mary Todd loves people, loves life, and wants to see everyone living their best life, emotionally, spiritually, and physically, no matter what trials they have faced or are facing. She shares her life in Kalispell, Montana, with her husband Rick, a former Naval Aviator, a retired airline pilot and a small business owner. Together, they have four sons and five grandchildren. Tragically, their eldest son, Shane Truman Todd, a PhD in electrical engineering, was murdered in Singapore in 2012 after refusing to facilitate the illegal transfer of military-grade technology to China.
Mary’s personal loss has fueled her mission to expose corruption, fight for truth and justice, and alert others to significant individual and global threats. She has channeled her resolve into advocacy and co-authored Hard Drive: A Family’s Fight Against Three Countries (https://www.amazon.com/Hard-Drive-Familys-Against-Countries/dp/1630473367) with her niece Christina Villegas. The book recounts her family’s battle against U.S. officials, the Singapore government and the CCP, all of whom worked hard to cover-up the truth about how and why Shane was murdered. In her fervor to expose Government corruption, Mary has run for US Congress twice.
A strong believer in God’s purpose, Mary finds hope in her faith, even amid profound pain, believing her journey serves a greater good. With an MA in Organizational Leadership from Azusa Pacific University, where she served as a campus pastor, Mary continues her mission through speaking engagements, advocacy, and The Mary Todd Show.
The Todd’s story has been widely covered in major media outlets and documentaries, including a 48 Hours episode titled “Spies, Lies and Secrets.” You may learn more by clicking the Shane Todd link.
